Counselling sessions.

Traditionally, receiving therapy has involved face-to-face contact between you and your therapist. But as times have changed, so too has the nature of counselling.

It’s now possible to receive the same quality of professional therapy remotely, which not only helps to reduce the cost of sessions, but also gives you more flexibility in choosing when, and where, you receive counselling.

Other information about therapy.

Session details.

Each session will last 50 minutes, approximately 40 minutes for therapy and 10 minutes to close the session down safely. This would normally be at the same time and on the same day every week.

It is entirely your decision how long you decide to come to counselling for, whether it be just a few sessions or a longer term commitment.

Term of therapy.

Short term therapy can be useful in focusing to address specific issues, or to help manage a sudden crisis or life change.

Longer term therapy allows for more extensive exploration of your values, beliefs, how you view yourself and where you fit in the wider world. This can ultimately lead to greater change and personal growth.
